In just six weeks, build real-world project experience that strengthens your resume, portfolio, and professional confidence. The Real-World Project Experience combines Green Career Essentials training with a live, cohort-based project experience where participants collaborate in teams on structured real-world challenges inspired by sustainability, operations, and community impact work.

Live Sessions: Thursdays · 7:00–8:30 PM ET

Duration: 6 weeks · 3–4 hrs/week

Format: Hybrid (Green Career Essentials + live cohort project experience)

Phase 1: Before the Cohort Begins

Green Career Essentials (Self-Paced). Participants complete short self-paced modules to prepare them for the live cohort experience.*

  • Resume, LinkedIn & Professional Branding — Strengthen your resume, LinkedIn profile, and professional narrative for applications & networking.

  • Networking, Applications & Workplace Communication — Build confidence navigating networking conversations, applications, interviews, and professional collaboration in mission-driven and operational environments.

  • Professional Readiness Foundations* — Learn how organizations communicate, collaborate, and solve problems across mission-driven and operational environments.

*Participants must complete the foundations training to earn a Career Essentials digital credential before entering the live cohort experience.

Phase 2: Real-World Project Experience 6-Week Live Cohort Experience

Week 1: Cohort Kickoff & Project Launch

Meet your cohort, form teams, and begin exploring a structured real-world project challenge inspired by sustainability, operational, or community issues organizations are actively navigating.

Work with your team to explore the challenge, identify key issues, and organize initial insights using guided templates and collaboration tools.
