What Is the Green Career Readiness Training?
The Green Career Readiness Training is a four-week, interactive online program designed for motivated students and recent graduates who want to explore careers in the environmental, sustainability, or nonprofit sectors. Whether you’re pursuing a degree in environmental science, taking climate-focused courses, or just passionate about making a difference, this training gives you the tools to turn interest into action—and action into a career path.
Why Join the Green Career Readiness Training?
The 2025 job market is turbulent: slower growth, tighter budgets, cautious hiring. But green careers are one of the few sectors still expanding — and expanding fast. According to LinkedIn (2024) over 50% of all new jobs will require green skills by 2030. Even when hiring slows, green skills keep students employable.
Participants will leave the program with:
A clear understanding of career paths in climate, sustainability, and social impact work
A polished green resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, and personal elevator pitch
A Capstone Project to showcase in their portfolio and share with potential employers
Practical leadership and workplace strategies to stand out in internships and early-career roles
Confidence to network with peers, mentors, and professionals in the environmental field
A Leadership and Career Essentials for the Green Economy badge to highlight their readiness
A supportive, like-minded community committed to creating environmental change
Take your first step toward a mission-driven career that matters.
“This program helped me build something meaningful... stronger skills, more confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.”
