FWS Climate Adaptation Fellowship

Join us. Do work that matters.

MobilizeGreen seeks conservation-minded Climate Adaptation Fellows to help support the federal government’s Roadmap for Nature-based Solutions to fight climate change, strengthen nature and communities, and support local economies. Through its partnership with the US Fish & Wildlife Service (“FWS”), MobilizeGreen is implementing the FWS’ Maintenance and Infrastructure Fellowship program for diverse participants. The Climate Adaptation Fellowships typically are for 26 or 52 weeks and are located on refuges or a regional office.

As a Fellow, you will gain hands-on experience in understanding nature's processes and functions to tackle societal challenges like climate change, biodiversity declines, disasters, and water security by building resiliency for ecological and human communities.

Through mentorship and training, Fellows will gain the opportunity to launch their career with a non-competitive or through other hiring authorities once they successfully complete their fellowship.
