DEI Is Not Affirmative Action: The Future of Diversity Within Internship Programs

The recent Supreme Court Affirmative Action ruling has led businesses and organizations to reevaluate internship DEI strategies. Despite efforts to scale back such strategies, many employers remain committed to DEI initiatives.

In our current workforce, experience is critical to getting an entry-level job, and internships remain a key strategy to early-career success. That’s why access to internships is key to removing employment barriers for youth of color.

Companies are looking for guidance in this new landscape, and strategies to move forward with and navigate their programs in light of the decision. That’s why we are convening career services experts, industry leaders, program officers, lawyers, hiring managers, and HR managers for this critical conversation.

Please join MobilizeGreen and The VirtualIntern for a critical discussion with businesses, organizations, and thought-leaders on strategies for moving forward with and navigating DEI in internship programs in this new landscape.
